The Zip-3 Business Card
Cutter is a simple to
operate machine designed
to cut ten business
cards. There are to cut
sizes available; The
Zip3-85 cuts 55 x 85mm,
and the Zip3-90 cuts 50
x 90mm, both work from
an A4 sheet.
The machine has two
fixed independent
cutting sections. Once
the card design is
complete and printed, a
single A4 sheet is
placed on the lower tray
and fed through the
first cutting section
automatically.
The blades remove a 3mm
vertical gutter down the
middle and remove the
edges to leave two
strips of five cards.
Each strip measures 85
or 90 x 297mm.
These strips are then
turned through 90
degrees and a single
strip is placed on the
upper tray, aligned to
the guides and passed
through the upper
cutting section.
The second cut trims the
top and the bottom
whilst removing a 3mm
gutter from between each
card. The result is five
perfectly cut cards.
When
combined with a laser or
ink jet printer, the
Zip-3 allows short run
business cards, ID Cards
and tickets to be
produced with ease. |
